    Every Sunday

    Ease into Sunday with vinyl spins, soulful grooves, and the best of South African sound - from Kwaito to Afro-house, Jazz, and beyond. DJs set the tone, the decks stay warm, and the vibe is pure nostalgia and connection.

    Come early, bring your own vinyls, and be part of the rhythm.

    First Thursdays at Nkula

    Every First Thursday

    Nkula turns Long Street into a celebration of community and culture. Winemakers pour their latest drops, live DJs set the vibe, and the city’s hottest crowd rolls in - from creatives and locals to travellers and industry tastemakers. Steps from Cape Town’s best galleries and nightlife, it’s the perfect place to sip, connect, and be part of the scene.

    Every Monday

    Mondays get a little smarter and a lot funnier at Nkula. Uncorked Minds alternates between comedy night and quiz night - with a splash of each either way. Expect sharp jokes, tricky questions, great wine, and prizes up for grabs.

    Every Second Thursday

    Nkula’s Biko Black philosophy lives here. Meet the Makers spotlights the winemakers and brand owners whose stories and craftsmanship often go unseen in the industry. Every second Thursday, a featured winemaker joins us for an intimate tasting from 6pm - sharing their journey, process, and the wines they create.

    With DJs on the decks and space to ask, taste, and learn directly from the source, it’s wine education with soul - up close, in person, and proudly celebrated.
